Billin, the Madrid-based invoicing software startup, raises €1.5 million

Billin, an invoicing software startup, has announced an investment round of €1.5 million led by Kibo Ventures and K Fund with participation from GoCardless CTO Carlos González Cadenas.

Based in Madrid, Spain, and founded in 2014 by Marcos de la Cueva y Diego Goya, Billin develops cloud software for small businesses to manage their invoicing through free and premium tiers; currently 10,000 companies and professionals are using the software with €100 million worth of invoices processed.

The new funds will be used to internationalise its offering. It plans to expand across Europe and enter Latin America by 2018.

Billin was founded in Madrid, in 2014. It is the first online tool that allows to create, send, and manage invoices. It helps companies to manage and control the invoices and the payments. If offers also the possibility to pay the invoices using credit cards or Paypal. It has been listed in the list of 50 best start ups in Spain in 2015.
